To allow our staff and volunteers a well-earned rest and to celebrate the birth of Jesus and the Christmas period, our offices will close at 2pm on Tuesday 23 December and will reopen on Friday 2 January 2026. For those who receive support from our CARE Project, the final opportunity to request a food parcel is 12pm on Monday 22 December. For professionals requesting support from our Baby Bank, the final opportunity to submit a request is 5pm on 16 December, with collections available until office closure on 22 December. We wish you a peaceful Christmas and every blessing for the New Year.

We’re hiring! Could you be an Assistant Community Worker?

The Parish Trust is providing an Apprenticeship Opportunity through its Profectus Programme for someone to train as a Community Worker.

As the charity continues to grow, we’re looking to expand our team and want to provide someone with an opportunity to learn about community engagement whilst working on the job. You will be trained specifically for community work within the charitable sector.

An enhanced apprenticeship wage is on offer, the programme runs for 12 months, and this is a particularly exciting role because there’s the possibility of a successful candidate to become a permanent member of staff, subject to necessary standards being met during the Apprenticeship.
