To allow our staff and volunteers a well-earned rest and to celebrate the birth of Jesus and the Christmas period, our offices will close at 2pm on Tuesday 23 December and will reopen on Friday 2 January 2026. For those who receive support from our CARE Project, the final opportunity to request a food parcel is 12pm on Monday 22 December. For professionals requesting support from our Baby Bank, the final opportunity to submit a request is 5pm on 16 December, with collections available until office closure on 22 December. We wish you a peaceful Christmas and every blessing for the New Year.

Description

We all have hopes and dreams for our lives and for those we love, and we can all experience disappointment if these are dashed or remain unfulfilled. As we learn how to recognise the impact shattered dreams have on us, alongside examining our response to disappointment, God can strengthen us to press on and have hope once more.

Key insights in this book include:

  • The causes and effects of disappointment
  • Why God allows us to face loss
  • How we can find new strength and hope in God
  • Drawing on case studies, as well as personal and professional experiences, Insight into Disappointment offers practical and spiritual help to those who suffer and those who care, as they grapple with the issues involved with disappointment.
