To allow our staff and volunteers a well-earned rest and to celebrate the birth of Jesus and the Christmas period, our offices will close at 2pm on Tuesday 23 December and will reopen on Friday 2 January 2026. For those who receive support from our CARE Project, the final opportunity to request a food parcel is 12pm on Monday 22 December. For professionals requesting support from our Baby Bank, the final opportunity to submit a request is 5pm on 16 December, with collections available until office closure on 22 December. We wish you a peaceful Christmas and every blessing for the New Year.

Bereavement Support for ABUHB NHS Staff

Supporting ABUHB Staff Through Bereavement – In Partnership with The Parish Trust

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) is committed to supporting staff through challenging times, including the experience of bereavement. In partnership with The Parish Trust, we are offering dedicated bereavement support courses designed to help staff navigate grief and loss with compassion and care. These courses, free of charge, and available both online and in person, aim to provide a safe and supportive space for reflection and healing. This page serves as a central hub for staff to access information and sign up for these valuable support sessions, ensuring everyone has the guidance and resources they need during difficult times.
