Welcoming Rhian Hathaway to The Parish Trust: A Strategic Appointment for Growth and Impact

We are pleased to announce that Rhian Hathaway has joined The Parish Trust as our new Fundraising Manager. With extensive experience in fundraising, project management, and community development, Rhian brings a wealth of knowledge that will be vital as we navigate an exciting period of growth and transformation.

Rhian holds a Law degree alongside qualifications in Leadership, Management, and PRINCE2 Project Management. Her impressive track record includes securing significant funding for causes such as food poverty, capital development, and initiatives supporting children, young people, and older adults. In her previous role as Regeneration Manager at Groundwork, she managed a £1.8 million regeneration programme, overseeing everything from bid writing to project delivery. Most recently, Rhian worked at the Bridges Centre, where she consistently secured large grants to support vital community services.

Her appointment comes at an important time for The Parish Trust. We are preparing for our impending move and the renovation of the Bryn Hall in Trethomas. These developments have been shaped by the feedback gathered through listening exercises with our community, ensuring we are addressing real needs and building for the future. Rhian’s expertise in securing sustainable funding and managing complex projects will play a crucial role in realising these plans.

Rev. Dean Aaron Roberts, Chief Executive Officer, commented on Rhian’s appointment:

“We are very fortunate to have been able to appoint someone of Rhian’s experience and resolve to The Parish Trust family! Rhian’s addition to our team comes at a key moment for The Parish Trust. As we face the challenges of moving to new premises and undertaking the renovation of the Bryn Hall, her skills in fundraising and project management will help ensure these initiatives are successful and aligned with the needs of our stakeholders and service area. Our growth has brought both opportunities and challenges, and Rhian’s leadership in fundraising will be instrumental in ensuring continuity of service while laying the foundations for future expansion.”

As we move forward with these plans, Rhian’s appointment marks a significant step in securing the future of The Parish Trust. We look forward to sharing more updates with you as we continue to grow, develop new projects, and strengthen our ability to serve the community.

Please note that in order to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and to enjoy the Easter Holidays, The Parish Trust will be closed from Thursday 28th March 2024 and will reopen on Monday 8th April 2024. We wish all our stakeholders and beneficiaries a Happy Easter.
