We hope you had a wonderful Easter! We're back after our post-Easter break, and we've got lots lined up!
Dear ,
Happy Easter from all of us here at The Parish Trust. Last week, we had our post Easter holiday which is a chance for staff and volunteers to relax after a busy few months. But now, we're back, and we have news to share! Here's what's coming up over the next few months by way of events, courses, and opportunities to get involved - there's something for everyone and we'd be glad to see you at any of our events!

The Parish Trust Launches "Databank" Initiative to Combat Data Poverty
|
|
The Parish Trust, in collaboration with Good Things Foundation, is proud to announce the launch of its “Databank” initiative, aimed at providing free mobile data to those in need across The Parish Trust’s service area, covering over 54,000 people in Caerphilly County Borough. This groundbreaking program operates similarly to a food bank but focuses on bridging the digital divide by offering essential connectivity resources to individuals and families facing data poverty.

VOLUNTEERING
We're in need of a bigger team...

We are desperate for more volunteers to help us at our Friday Youth Club, which will be reopening on 12th April!
Before the Easter break, we unfortunately had to cancel Youth Club or significantly reduce capacity due to limited numbers of staff and volunteers, leaving around 40 young people with nowhere to go on a Friday evening. A lot of our young people wait all week for the opportunity to hang out with friends and have fun in our safe space, and closing our doors to them is a last resort for us.
We are appealing for some kind, wonderful adults to give just 2 hours of their time on a Friday evening to help monitor and oversee activities between the hours of 6:45pm and 8:45pm
What's in it for you? - Trying something new, gaining new skills and experience - Joining a team of amazing, friendly volunteers of all ages - Being part of a fantastic community - Free DBS check and training with support every step of the way - Using your spare time to do something rewarding - Making a difference in your community
If you have some spare time or would like to try something new yet rewarding, please consider becoming a volunteer! Our next Youth Club session will be Friday 12th April.
You can get in touch by emailing youth@theparishtrust.org.uk for more information, or sign up to volunteer below

CARE Project updates
Catchment Areas | Please note we're starting to change the way we deliver our food parcels. We continue to deliver all our parcels to make food accessible to everyone who needs it. From April we will start delivering by post code area so where you live will affect which day we deliver to you.
This will help our drivers to spend less time on the road and help us to do even more deliveries!
Our CARE project phone line and our online request form are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 12 noon so don't forget to contact us in good time to arrange your food parcel.
