Autumn Updates: New events for children, and jobs on offer!

INVESTING IN CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Summer of Fun Success

Over 400 children attended our Summer of Fun events which were specifically aimed at children, young people, and their families to give them something free and fun to do through the holidays. We're asking for attendees at any of the events to fill in a simple questionnaire so that we can put on more events in the future, throughout the year...

Tommy's Tots
A reminder that Tommy's Tots runs every Tuesday between 9:30am and 11am, and is £1.50 per family.

Lunch Club
Why not come along to our weekly lunch club held every Thursday from 1pm?
For just £4 per adult and £2 per child you can enjoy a lovely meal cooked by our staff and volunteers
If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know upon booking and we will make sure there is an option for you!

The Games Table
The Games Table meets every Tuesday, 3pm-5pm for family games, and then 7pm until late for adults. Given the colder months, it could be a good opportunity to enjoy the warmth of our building and the warm company of others.

VOLUNTEERING
Are you able to give some time each week to The Parish Trust?
Studies show that volunteering is good for you, and The Parish Trust is currently in need of volunteers to run our social justice projects such as our CARE Project. We're especially in need of people who are willing to deliver food parcels and can drive our delivery van.

Like Singing?
Community Choir is looking for more recruits
|

|
The Parish Trust Community Choir has been going since March of this year, and has now got a good repertoire of songs. We're currently singing songs such as The Vicar of Dibley Theme Tune (Psalm 23) and also songs from the Jackson Five, as well as musical hits such as Annie, and old time favourites like "Here comes the Sun".
We're looking for more people to join (especially men and young people) All are welcome to attend some taster rehearsals before they make a commitment.
