To think that the Church in Wales will be the cause of disruption for your youth and children’s services is disgraceful. I read they want to turn the building back into a church. I’d be surprised if anyone goes to it after the shocking behaviour they have demonstrated to the community. I shall be walking straight past it and into the Bryn Hall once it’s open there. There will be more Christianity there than in St Thomas Church after December 23nd.

A very disappointed resident.

I am so sorry to read this sad news, I only met Carol at the latest volunteer celebration evening but I felt as though I knew her already as we were both doing the same role as admin for the Care Project on different days. She came over and introduced herself and we both said how lovely it was to meet each other after seeing the messages each week for the Care project. I would like to send my heartfelt sympathy to Carol’s family and loved ones and my sadness that I was not able to get to know her better, with much love, Nicki Diplock.

I am so excited to see the oap building thats behind the school in trethomas being rebuilt or upgraded and used, the times i have come down the lane and seen it looking abandoned and hoped that someone could bring it back to life, and happy that the Parish Trust is going to take the building on, and upgrade and fetch it back to life, I will be looking that way more often to see how the development comes on I wish you all the best

I feel both saddened and disturbed to read the above. The Parish Trust embodies every Christian principal we are asked to follow. The Organisation has reached out over the years to it’s most needy members of society and has, imaginatively, introduced a great number of initiatives to the benefit of all members of the community.

They have engendered a spirit of philanthropy and empathy amongst others in the community to give their time and beneficial support to others.

There is no doubt that our community both near and far will be much poorer for the loss of this Organisation and I really hope the Church in Wales will reconsider their position.

I’m very sad to hear this. The Parish Trust have delivered tirelessly to the Community and its Christian values are just where they should be. I’m not surprised the CInW have acted in this way because I have had dealings with them in the past. Unfortunately, they have shown shocking Christian values…I pray The Parish Trust continues. Bless you all…God will be the Judge
